It definitely reduced my fatigue and never interfered with my swing. We walked plenty of fields and the sling was great. You just slip one end over the barrel and the other end around your butt stock and sling it over your shoulder -you carry it like a regular slinged rifle. I used the sling on opening day of Pheasant Season in Colorado. I also learned this past week that standing sunflower heads in a dove field have an uncanny ability to snag shotgun slings. There is a shotgun sling intentionally made that does not require drilling or replacement parts. I usually take the sling off in a blind, as sometimes they get tangled up. And yes, ducks do show up when you’re out in the decoys because - I believe anyway - the ripples attract them.
